About this section

This section is all about introducing somatics to yourself or/and your students/clients.

You have:

  • 2 videos with 2 somatic experiences (or scans). One in standing and one lying on the floor. These are very good and simple ways to introduce a somatic experience to oneself and to students/clients. In Feldenkrais we usually do this at the beginning of a lesson/exercise and then again, at the end. This is so that people can sense the differences that might have happened to their bodies after a Feldenkrais lesson. These 2 experiences are rather long but you dont need to do it all. If you are short in time just do the first minute or so. On the other hand, if you got the time, spend sometime doing these somatic experiences - it can be quite transformative and meditative!
  • You also have 2 videos with 2 similar somatic exercises that, in my opinion, are the best somatic exercises to introduce somatic movement to oneself and to students/clients.

Let me know below if you have any questions, let's chat!
